The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the ways STD programs and DIS provide partner services and their respective programming policies. To highlight the innovative work that DIS are doing to ensure those exposed to an STI receive the best possible care and prevent the spread of COVID-19, NCSD is hosting a webinar that explores clinic protocols, telehealth, online partner notification, and COVID-19 safety measures in the midst of reopening phases.

Objectives

This webinar’s goal is to explore how the following measures occur during the COVID-19 Pandemic:

• Notifying partners of exposure
  • Internet Partner Services
  • Telephone notification
  • Mail notification
• Ensuring partners receive necessary screening & treatment
• • Expedited Partner Therapy (EPT)
  • Telehealth
  • COVID-19 screening/referrals if needed
