This policy aid is designed to help address disparities in mpox vaccination rates by highlighting practical, replicable strategies to improve vaccine awareness, access, and uptake. It examines approaches implemented across four jurisdictions—Vermont, New York City, Chicago and Houston—and outlines the background and tactics from each location. The goal is to support health departments, clinics, and other public health agencies with incorporating mpox vaccination into existing programs and services.
