This call focused on a topic critically important to STD-AAPPS grantees and persons working on sexual health initiatives. Charlie Rabins, a technical assistance consultant with NCSD, facilitated our discussion on Using Community Engagement to Promote Sexual Health For Youth.  Speakers from the CRUSH Coalition (Communities Restoring Urban Sexual Health), the High School for Recording Arts, and the Face to Face Clinic in Minnesota discussed how to effectively work with community based organizations to develop and implement innovative social marketing strategies that promote sexual health. Participants were encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts on:

  • How to engage and effectively work with community based organizations and affected populatons to develop and conduct innovative sexual health programming.
  • How to collaborate with school based health programs and community health centers to promote sexual health.
