Funding available to build health department capacity to work with adolescents.
NCSD has received funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) to increase education of key stakeholders on CDC-developed school-based programs to advance HIV/STD prevention among adolescents (10-19 years old). As part of this initiative, NCSD aims to increase the capacity of health departments to implement school-based approaches for HIV and STD prevention in partnership with education agencies.
