Visual Case Analysis (VCA) is a critical tool to understand how syphilis moves through sexual networks. As syphilis rates increase across the United States, VCA is a necessary skill for all Disease Intervention Specialists to have in order to interrupt the chain of transmission. This VCA training offers an opportunity for seasoned and new DIS to learn about the purpose of VCA, how VCA is conducted, and how to interpret the VCA to create a source/spread analysis of the case.
