A new campaign from Symbiomix and ASHA provides women and healthcare professionals with information on Bacterial Vaginosis.
Check out Keep Her Awesome.
This national awareness campaign is focused on educating women on bacterial vaginosis (BV) – a condition that affects one in three women in the U.S., and according to new survey findings, can have an impact on certain everyday activities that may often be taken for granted, including healthy sex lives, dating, and spending time with family/friends.
This resource provides women and healthcare professionals with information on BV including downloadable resources, such as Do’s and Don’ts for HCPs to share with their patients, a BV fact sheet, and discussion guides on how to talk with your partner and HCP about BV. The website also features results from a new Harris Poll national survey of women who have had BV, sponsored by Symbiomix and the American Sexual Health Association (ASHA), that sheds light on the lack of awareness of BV and its associated risks as well as the serious impact of the condition on women.
