For the third consecutive year, NCSD and the National Association and County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) are pleased to offer six full scholarships for DIS to attend the NCSD 2017 Annual Meeting. This year the meeting will be held in the Washington, DC Capital Area on November 14th – 17th. Scholarships will cover conference registration, lodging, travel, and per diem expenses.

NCSD’s annual meeting provides an important opportunity for DIS to build expertise in STD prevention and control within a broader sexual health approach. The meeting agenda includes a DIS Skills Building Workshop, several sessions focused on DIS work, and a DIS networking event.

This year we are looking to recognize and highlight emerging leaders in the field – DIS who have demonstrated a commitment to STD prevention and the DIS profession. As such, eligible applicants for this scholarship opportunity include:

• Individuals who have been a DIS for 3 or more years; and
• Have never attended the NCSD Annual Meeting.
