Get the scoop on what's happening this week in Congress.
While the House was not in session this week, the Senate kept busy with negotiations around appropriations and several confirmation votes. After several weeks of near stand-still, the national security supplemental is nearly finished with only one item left to resolve. While a topline funding agreement was reached two weeks ago, the Appropriations Committee chairs have yet to reach an agreement on assigning allocations to the 12 subcommittees, raising more concerns about whether or not appropriations bills will be passed and signed by the March deadline.
