Thomas is the Chief, Office of HIV, STD, TB, and Viral Hepatitis. Prior to this position, he was the Executive Director at AIDS Project Rhode Island, the largest AIDS service organization (ASO) in Rhode Island. He was also the STD Director for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. His education includes a degree in public health in epidemiology and an undergraduate degree in biology.
Beth has been in her current position as the Director of the Division of TB/STD since 2011. Prior to becoming the Division Director, she was Infertility Prevention Project (IPP) Coordinator for 15 years. Beth has been involved with STD Prevention for over 20 years.
Dr. Johnson serves as the Deputy Director-Operations of the STD/HIV Program for the Office of Public Health in Louisiana. Previously, she worked in a Nurse Practitioner position and Regional Nurse Manager position in the Alexandria, LA region. Dr. Johnson earned her doctorate in Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University and her Nurse Practitioner-Women’s Health degree from University of Alabama-Birmingham.
Brandi serves as the STD Prevention Program Manager for the Arkansas Department of Health. Prior to that, she was a program coordinator at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science. She also served in the Public Health Associate Program (PHAP) with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where she was formally trained as a Disease Intervention Specialist. She has her BS from University of Florida and her MPH from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
