Earlier this month, the CDC released long-awaited proposed guidelines for Doxy as STI PEP! The proposed guidelines are open for public comment until November 16. It’s critical that the CDC receives as many supportive comments as possible. Already, NCSD has been monitoring homophobic and generally unsupportive comments that have been submitted.

We encourage organizations and individuals to submit comments that are supportive of this new intervention and provide constructive recommendations on how it can be improved. To ease the workload, NCSD has created Template Comments for the Doxy as STI PEP Guidelines with arguments and evidence for our members and partners. This document can be viewed, downloaded and saved to make your own edits for submission.
