Greta is currently the Director, STD Services for the New Jersey Department of Health. She began her career in Philadelphia in 2006 as the STD Control Program Epidemiologist. In Philadelphia she oversaw both the Surveillance Unit, the High School STD Screening Program, and expanded collaboration with the HIV program, led the migration of surveillance system to a new platform, and drove program advancements through data analysis. In 2018, Greta assumed her new role, heading up STD Services for the state of New Jersey. She has been an invaluable NCSD member, serving as the chair of the Program Committee and on our Board of Directors, and is a true leader in the STD field.
Since 2006, Daniel has been the Program Chief of the HIV, STD, and Hepatitis C program at the Vermont Department of Health. Vermont is an integrated Care, Prevention, and Surveillance. Prior to his current position, Daniel was a social worker and worked for ten years as an HIV/AIDS case manager, prevention specialist, and trainer in Philadelphia and cities in central Connecticut.
Janine started her career in Public Health as a Disease Intervention Specialist and Field Operations Supervisor in Indiana. She gained a great deal of experience of working there during two syphilis outbreaks. She relocated to New Mexico in 2012 and is the STD Program manager for the Department of Health. In total she has 20 years of experience working in the field of STD’s. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the National Coalition of STD Directors and serves as the Chair of the DIS Advisory Committee.
Caitlin Conrad is presently serving as the STD Prevention Program Director for the Indiana State Department of Health. She has worked in Public Health and STD Prevention for the past 6 years, starting from the ground up. In her current position, she is responsible for coordinating statewide STD prevention services, maintaining compliance with the STD AAPPS grant, and overseeing all Disease Intervention Specialist operations for the State of Indiana. She oversees development of the STD database as well as the development and implementation of program policies.
