Letter from CDC regarding AAPPS Awards

Author
CDC
Release Date
December 22, 2017

All Notices of Award for the 5th year of AAPPS (2018-2019) have been sent out via GrantsSolutions.  If you did not receive your Notice of Award, please contact Portia Brewer, Grants Management Specialist, Office of Grant Services ([email protected] or 770-488-3185).  We apologize for the delays in communication regarding changes to your award amount.

We know that there are questions related to the funding amounts and proportion of funding received.

  1. Please see the attached funding spreadsheet.  Overall, the amount of funds for AAPPS that is currently available for the 5th year is lower than the amount that was used to guide the 5th year budget/continuation applications.  For this reason, you may see a decrease in the total award amount on the Notice of Award compared to what you expected.
  2. We will host a webinar on Wednesday, January 10, at 1pm EST (10am PST).  Please register for the webinar at this link: https://cc.readytalk.com/r/xr4n64eft6va&eom.  We strongly encourage you to attend the webinar. The agenda includes:
  • 2018 award information review
  • Evaluation updates
  • Program Team updates
  • SIG plan for 2018
  1. Please contact me directly ([email protected]) or at [email protected] to discuss any questions.
