NCSD will be kicking off STI Awareness Week 2024 by hosting the first in a three-part webinar series, supported by Hologic, highlighting gaps in sexual health practices and testing needs for diverse populations.

Featuring Dr. William M. Geisler, M.D., M.P.H., professor of Medicine and Epidemiology in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Dr. Erik Munson, Ph.D, D (ABMM), associate professor and Chair of the Department of Medical Laboratory Science at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This webinar will highlight the key clinical manifestations of Mycoplasma genitalium infection, discuss current epidemiology and resistance concerns of M. gen infection in the U.S., review M. gen diagnostic approaches and testing recommendations, and discuss the management of M. gen infection. We hope you’ll join us for this hour-long webinar, with time left to answer your questions at the end.
