Event Date
November 19

Rapid ART, getting antiretroviral therapy (ART) in the hands of a patient as soon as possible upon an HIV diagnosis, is the standard of HIV care but not widely in place in jurisdictions and clinics across the nation.

Join the November 19 HRSA-sponsored webinar, Rapid ART: an Essential Strategy to End the Epidemic, to learn what it takes to implement a rapid ART program.

The webinar is part of HRSA-funded technical assistance for Ending the HIV Epidemic jurisdictions, but all HIV agencies are welcome to attend. Presenters from HRSA and leading clinicians will review:

  • HRSA policy and initiatives that supports rapid ART
  • The benefits of rapid ART and components of a rapid ART program (e.g., workflows, protocols, provider training, securing medications)
  • Technical assistance for EHE jurisdictions, available from CAI, the HRSA-funded technical assistance program called TAP-in

Notably, the webinar will feature highlights and tips from agencies that presented rapid ART sessions at the 2020 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care and Treatment.
