Several STD programs are running central distribution 340b program—when a state or city STD entity purchases medication and provides it to other 340b entities in their jurisdiction, such as county health departments. And while these models are not unusual for public health, is not a common model in general in the 340B Program. As result, STD programs may be operating with limited information regarding how to set up and operate this model.
