NCSD Engage 2017, the NCSD annual meeting, will provide participants with meaningful information and practical insights regarding STD prevention and control. This is the only annual gathering for STD-focused public health professionals from state and local health departments. The meeting will provide an opportunity for NCSD members and colleagues to focus awareness in the areas of Quality Improvement, DIS Training and Certification, PrEP, Congenital and Syphilis, Developments in Point of Care Testing, Sexual Health and Social Justice, Program Science, Surveillance, Evaluation Capacity Building, Social Media and Condom Distribution as well as many other important topics within the field of STD prevention.

NCSD has reserved a block of rooms at the Westin Alexandria at the prevailing government rate which is currently set at $201.00 per night plus tax. Please note that this rate is subject to change on October 1st per federal government review.

If you make your reservation by phone please be sure to mention that you will be attending the NCSD 2017 Annual Meeting to ensure the group rate. Reservations must be made by Monday – October 23rd to guarantee your room and rate.

Ground Transportation Options To and From Hotel / Airport: The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the King Street Metro. To make arrangements, call (703) 253-8600 when you arrive at the station and they will pick you up promptly. The hotel is also within walking distance to the King Street Metro station. Capital Area Airports: The airport closest to the Westin Alexandria is Reagan National Airport (DCA) however other options are Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI).
