This project was made in partnership with the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB), the National Association of City and County Health Officials (NACCHO), the National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD), DIS subject matter experts, and certification experts.
Many local and state health department DIS and other program staff supported these efforts, and their participation from the field has been critical to each step of this process. Additionally, our National Advisory Committee, which included national, state, and local stakeholders in HIV, STD, TB, emergency preparedness, workforce development, and health department accreditation, was instrumental to ensuring the success of this important phase of the DIS certification development process.
