Here's the scoop on what's happening this week in Congress.
The Senate plans to return to session in Washington, DC, and begin to consider legislation next week. Many Senate Democrats are questioning if this is the right decision, given the continued rise in COVID-19 cases and the call for social distancing.
The House currently plans to return to session May 12.
The House continues to move forward with plans to introduce a fourth COVID-19 stimulus bill. Speaker Pelosi is taking Congressmember requests this week to put together numbers for stimulus number four. NCSD will keep you updated once we know more of what the bill includes.
