Description

The number of congenital syphilis cases around the country has dramatically increased by 185% since 2014. This increase is a symptom of the nation’s STD crisis. As public health professionals, disease intervention specialists (DIS) are key players in engaging their communities and following up on potential congenital syphilis cases. But how is this being done across the nation? Join NCSD’s DIS Community of Practice on Wednesday, April 22 at 2:00 pm ET for a webinar around lessons learned and best practices on engaging with pregnant women and addressing congenital syphilis in various jurisdictions.
