NCSD is hosting a late breaker webinar that focuses on how to collect SOGI data and take a sexual history in an inclusive and culturally competent manner, which is scheduled to take place this Friday, March 29th at 11am-11:45am EST. The webinar aims to define the basics around SOGI data, demonstrate how that information can be collected and used, and how this information can be used in coordination with a sexual history to inform your MSM and transgender focused care. The objectives of the webinar are as follows:

  • Identify and define 4 terms used in SOGI data
  • Describe how SOGI data can enhance care for MSM and transgender populations
  • Describe 3 challenges that providers face in collecting SOGI data and taking a sexual history
  • Identify 3 responses to challenges
  • List 5 topics for an abbreviated sexual history (the 5 Ps)

If you are interested in attending this webinar, please register here. For any additional questions or concerns, email Neil Rana at nrana@ncsddc.org.
