NCSD’s submitted comments to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) about how the recent shortage of Bicillin-LA for the treatment of syphilis, has had an impact on patients and health care providers. NCSD also offered recommendations for preventing and mitigating future shortages of public health critical drugs.
