Neil Rana and Amanda Dennison traveled to Birmingham, Alabama to attend the Red Door Foundation’s Saving Ourselves Symposium. The conference addressed the health and wellness of the Black LGBTQ community within the south, focusing on HIV and other health disparities. Neil lead a panel discussion on DIS and the services they provide the LGBTQ community in the south. The discussion sought to showcase what DIS can do for black LGBTQ southerners, and ways that people can leverage their services to maintain their health and wellness.
