Leadership Transition at NCSD

NCSD’s Board of Directors announced the departure of NCSD’s longtime executive director, David C. Harvey, earlier this week. The board is grateful for David’s work to support the nation’s STD Directors and to elevate the importance of STI prevention in the U.S.

The Executive Committee of the board will be working in collaboration with the organization’s Senior Team to help oversee the work of the organization, and will be working with staff, NCSD member representatives, and partners to define the next chapter for NCSD.

The staff and board of NCSD are steadfastly committed to strengthening the nation’s public health response to STIs. We look forward to collaborating with our members and partners to shape the future of the organization, and to keeping you updated on the transition.
