What is CDC’s STI Outbreak and Response Coordination Team (ORCT)? The ORCT is a multidisciplinary team that enhances CDC’s ability to provide integrated technical assistance to state, tribal, local, or territorial public health departments to prepare for and respond to STI outbreaks and clusters.
What is the STI Outbreak Preparedness and Response Roundtable? It is a quarterly one-hour meeting with speakers from health departments who highlight their experiences with STI outbreak preparedness and response; and share successes and challenges in preparing for, identifying, responding to, and preventing STI-related outbreaks. Public health professionals from STI and Public Health Preparedness Programs are invited to attend; we encourage attendees to comment and ask questions during each meeting.
When: Wednesdays: February 12; May 14; August 13; November 12, 2025; 12:00pm – 1:00pm ET
