WHAT IS DOXY AS STI PEP? A growing body of research shows that doxycycline as STI post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) can be effective in preventing some of the most common STIs, and is a widely affordable and accessible option for STI prevention.

Please join NCSD’s Clinic+ in discussion on Doxy as STI PEP in our three part webinar series. In part one, we’ll hear from Phillip A. Chan, M.D., M.S, who is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine and School of Public Health at Brown University and an infectious disease physician, and Chief Medical Officer at Open Door Health, the state’s only community-based LGBTQ+ clinic.

Dr. Chan will cover the basics – a conversation for clinic folks, DIS, and anyone wanting to become a bit more familiar with Doxy as STI PEP. We’ll review the current recommendations by the CDC, discuss implementation practices, and review big takeaways.
