Morning Plenary Part I: Where We Go From Here: Coming Back Stronger with Lessons Learned from a Year of Mpox

On the anniversary of the first U.S. Mpox diagnosis, we’ll take stock of how the nation navigated the outbreak – the good and the bad – and what we still need to accomplish. With the possibility of an Mpox resurgence this summer and a raging STI epidemic, the only way forward is to take a syndemic approach. Hear directly from the White House National Mpox Response Deputy Coordinator on how you contributed on the front lines of the Mpox response and how the STI sector can contribute to a syndemic response to confront Mpox, HIV, and other infectious diseases.

Closing Plenary: Coming Back Stronger – Leaving No One Behind

Join us for nationally recognized speakers and experts on reproductive health, HIV, and minor consent laws for a discussion on the implications of a changing landscape for the future of STI prevention and care. Join us for a rousing send off from New Orleans ready to rise to the challenges of a growing STI epidemic in the U.S. Since we last gathered together in person, there has been a continued attack on sexual health rights and access for those most impacted by STDs—from Dobbs v Jackson, to Braidwood v Bererra, to gender-affirming health care to minor consent for STD testing. What is the national landscape look like? How are those in the sexual health sector fighting back and how can we all join the fight to improve health care for patients?
