NCSD received 36 complete applications for state DIS and 46 complete applications for local DIS in which we asked applicants to describe what they hope to gain from Engage as well as an example of a successful case or outcome with a member of a high priority population and a video explaining what being a DIS meant to them. NCSD has awarded five state DIS scholarships and NACCHO has awarded four local DIS scholarships for STD Engage 2018!  We appreciate the thoughtfulness shown and time spent on each application as we received some incredible responses.
