STD Engage 2018 is held for state and local STD directors across the nation and their staff, as well as key partners in the fight against STDs, to exchange epidemiological and other public health information, respond to emerging issues, develop policy positions and advise key officials, including CDC, on the prevention of STDs. The meeting:
- Addresses effective ways to prevent, control and eliminate STDs;
- Showcases innovative and successful programs that have yielded significant results;
- Focuses on an improved prevention agenda for STDs;
- Provides a forum to share new solutions not traditionally employed in STD prevention;
- Introduces germane public policy issues for discussion and action;
- Fosters dialog, learning and skill building through plenary sessions, discussion groups and workshops;
- Addresses Laboratory Services;
- Highlights emerging STD issues and trends; and
- Encourages peer to peer networking as well as the interaction and discussion with exhibitors.
** All Exhibitors receive one complimentary registration. Additional exhibit representatives should register as non-members. All those in attendance to exhibit are required to register. **
